This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit this website. It applies only to this website. It does not apply to the subscription service promoted here, which is operated by a separate company under its own privacy policy.
The short version. You can read everything on this site without an account, without giving us your name or email, and without accepting any cookies. We do not sell your data, and we do not run advertising networks on this site.

What we collect
Information you give us
Only what you choose to send. If you email us, we hold that email and your address for as long as needed to deal with your message and to keep a record of it. There are no forms on this site, no account registration and no newsletter.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records technical information when a page is requested. This typically includes your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type and version, your operating system, and the page you came from. These server logs exist to run and secure the site.
The search box on this site runs entirely in your browser. What you type is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because of this, no cookie consent banner is shown.
Why we are allowed to process it
Under the GDPR we rely on:

How long we keep it
Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics and are then deleted or anonymised. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and to keep a reasonable record.
Your rights

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
